Though there are a ton of brokers, you need to know why to choose one over the other!

What are you looking to do as far as trading is concerned?

Do you want to do it yourself...then you need a DISCOUNT BROKER!

Or have someone do it for you...then you need a FULL SERVICE BROKER!

I have tried both types depending on the place I was in for my trading experience.

Now that I'm personally involved in determining the future of my finances I use a DISCOUNT broker. Examples include, but not limited to:

Choicetrade
Etrade
Scottrade
TDAmeritrade
GorillaTrades
TradeKing
ThinkorSwim
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Of these, I have tried several and they have different platform styles, costs, customer service qualities, etc.

I figure if they all do basically the same thing, why pay more for the other? So I use Choicetrade since their customer service is excellent, their platform is very user-friendly and they're one of the lowest priced per trade brokers in the industry.

I also chose to partner with them since they offered my Clients and potential customers the best deal on signing up. When you sign up with Choicetrade, selecting Rapid Stock Profits as your referring entity & buy the Trading 101 DVD, they will give you trade credits up to the cost of your DVD, which results in your first 3 hour educational video being free.

See www.rapidstockprofits.com (http://www.rapidstockprofits.com) for details.

Well i have only tried one but i really like thinkorswim and their platform. Plus their customer service is really fast and they matched the commissions with choicedtrade but the lowest they will go is 5$ per stock trade. Im taking a break from options trades now so I'am not sure about their price for that. I do believe they are a good broker and their papermoney account is pretty useful and that people should try it as it is a good simulator.

I tried Thinkorswim, still have an account there actually, but my biggest issue with them is that they aren't very good on the customer service side. They are not quick to answer phones at their service desk during trading hours, sometimes you just keep getting the voicemail service.

I've had to leave a few messages with their business department and didn't hear back from them for a week or more.

Granted, if you trade futures or forex, then they have the service for that, whereas Choicetrade doesn't.

But when it comes to trading stock or options, Choicetrade has everyone beat on pricing and customer service.

I'm also going to put a referral offer on here that will give a nice reward for people that recommend Choicetrade to others who choose Rapid Stock Profits as their referring entity.

It will work like this, Tronik tells someone about Choicetrade and that person goes and signs up and chooses Rapid Stock Profits as the referring entity, then that person sends us an email to refer@rapidstockprofits.com informing us that they have signed up with Choicetrade, chosen us as the referring entity, and were referred by Tronik.

Then I will give Tronik a coupon for $20 off of my Tips & Tricks DVD.

The referral will get $20 off the Trading 101 DVD, plus $269 in trade credits from Choicetrade when they buy the Trading 101 DVD. So the DVD will have cost them $179 after the $20 discount and they will have 6 months to use the trade credits, which could actually give them $90 in cash value.

So start referring Tronik ;) I'll also put this in a thread of it's own.
